I am just back from Mexico City, what an experience!

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the WIN | Worldwide Independent Network of MR & OP Annual Conference as Esomar President, joining an extraordinary gathering of research and insights professionals from around the world, united around a theme that couldn’t feel more timely: Insight Equilibrium.
In a world pulled in so many directions, by data overload, AI disruption, geopolitical uncertainty and shifting consumer behaviours, the quest for equilibrium has never felt more relevant to our profession. What does it mean to find balance between speed and depth, between technology and humanity, between global intelligence and local truth? The conversations in Mexico City tackled these questions with remarkable creativity, boldness and intellectual generosity.
I was genuinely inspired. Not just by the quality of the ideas but by the energy and spirit of this community. WIN brings together some of the sharpest, most curious minds in our industry, and it shows.
I gave a presentation on how acceptance, usage and impact of AI are reshaping our ecosystem and the critical role that ESOMAR plays in guiding the industry through ethical standards, best practices, and global frameworks that ensure transparency, data protection, and trust in AI-driven research.

A very special thank you to Richard Colwell and the entire WIN team for their incredibly warm welcome and for curating such a stimulating, forward-thinking programme. The passion and care that goes into this conference is evident in every session, every conversation, every connection made.

Moments like these remind me why international collaboration is so vital to our profession. We are stronger, smarter and more impactful when we learn from each other, across borders, cultures and methodologies.
I am proud to represent ESOMAR in spaces like this, and excited about the bridges we continue to build together.
