Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues, and guests,
Good morning, and welcome to the beautiful city of Prague for the 2025 ESOMAR Annual Congress.
It’s both a pleasure and a privilege to be standing before you today, surrounded by some of the most innovative, insightful, and passionate minds in the world of market research, data analytics, and insights.
This year’s powerful theme is one that invites us to pause, reflect, and look ahead: Rei
magine. As we gather here in Prague, a city that has been a crossroads of culture, and innovation, we are reminded that the world around us is constantly evolving.
Reimagine is more than just a word, it is a call to action. It’s a challenge. A bold invitation to rethink everything we know, to dream bigger, to envision a future where possibilities are limitless and where our work has the power to create profound change.
It is an invitation to break free from established patterns, to rethink how we approach problems, to challenge the status quo, and to explore what we may have previously overlooked.
But before we dive into the exciting discussions, the cutting-edge presentations, and the dynamic collaborations that await us in the coming days, let’s take a moment to reflect on this powerful word: Reimagine.

How the words Reinvent, Transform, Rethink, Reframe, Repurpose, Reimagine resonate? What do they mean to you? To your business? To our Industry?
To reimagine is to look beyond what is familiar, to envision possibilities beyond the boundaries of what we currently know. It is not just a call to change, but to dream, of new ideas, new technologies, and new ways of connecting the dots, new ways to serve our clients, new ways to collaborate with agencies. It is a challenge to move from incremental improvements to transformation.
Reimagination requires us to embrace uncertainty, to experiment, and most importantly, to be bold. In our work, we are often the ones entrusted with making sense of complexity, with unlocking the stories hidden within data, with bringing clarity to the decisions that shape businesses, societies and lives.
