Happy Anniversary Esomar Council!
On April 1st 2025, the new elected Council started its term for 2025-2028.
I am very proud as ESOMAR President to see what we achieved in 12 months, showcasing our leadership.
- The revised ICC/Esomar Code of Conduct
- A record-breaking Annual Congress in Prague 🇨🇿, our biggest ever Congress gathering 1300+ attendees
- The recruitment of new COO Patrick De Reg
- The Strategy 2030 to future-proof the organisation. I was delighted to Chair the Strategy 2030 Steering group and the output has been presented to our Latam Representatives in Rio. This document gathers our Vision, Mission, Purpose, Strategy, Values, Personality and Culture. This is the first time that Esomar has a clear vsion and roadmap to guide the organisation for the 5 next years.
- Our first African regional event in Nairobi, Kenya
- An Ambassador in the USA Barry Jennings and four Representatives
- The appointment of Ray Poynter as Chair of Professional Standards Committee
- A successful Asia Pacific Tour demonstrating our strength in the region
- The biggest ever Latam conference in Rio de Janerio with 350+ attendees
- The Digital Transformation project to become a truly member-centric organisation
- The creation of an AI task force
- A very good financial position bringing stability back
- A new honorary Member Judith Passingham who has demonstrated outstanding leadership and service to our community.
